My Classes at BATB in Australia, the International Needlework Convention

Hello stitching world, I have some exciting news! It has been confirmed that I will be travelling to Australia to teach at BATB in Adelaide, South Australia.

BATB or Beating Around the Bush is an International Needlework Convention that offers fun, friendship and stitching with the world’s best needlework teachers and you are welcome to join, no matter where you live in this world!

I have chosen three projects which are suitable for the beginner and the advanced embroiderer. No experience is necessary and this is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn how to make gorgeous 3-D pieces with ribbon, fabric and other interesting fibres.

BATB is run by the famous Inspirations Magazine and the Creative Director, Fiona Fagan and her team have organised a fabulous event which promises to be the best one ever! This is the message from the team

WELCOME TO THE 8TH BEATING AROUND THE BUSH!

It’s hard to believe that it is almost two years since we held our last international stitching convention and what a fabulous time we all had! Once again we have secured the superb campus facilities of Immanuel College in Novar Gardens, close to the glorious seaside suburb of Glenelg.

We have an outstanding list of thirty-one world class tutors who have prepared an exceptional program for you – your only problem will be selecting which classes you would like to do!

In addition to this amazing selection, we have some great activities planned including the fun Embroidery Challenge and Quiz night, competitions, a sumptuous Gala Dinner and the Stitcher’s Village Fair. Beating Around the Bush celebrates, not only embroidery, but the wonderful friendships that grow from this shared interest and the joy that comes from gathering together stitchers from all around the world to learn and share.

Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Adelaide for an incredible week of fun, fellowship and, of course, stitching!

See you soon,
The Inspirations Team
